Oh...I meant the magnet. Like you say, Green did have the coils reversed (the screws closer to the bridge), which some folks think sounds better. I think that's what you are talking about...I don't think flipping just the magnet changes the sound of a pickup when it is used alone; I didn't notice it when I was fooling around with the Green mod.

I too did not notice any difference in the middle tone. But I did notice a difference (that I did not like that much, maybe it is because it is a strat, and is brighter than LP anyway due to the neck scale) made the neck tone brighter. SO I said what the hell, and didn't flip the pickup.

I guess afterall I don't have the greeney mod, but the BB king mod! :smack: :burnout:

Can anyone give me a god description of how to go about the Greeny mod?

I've got a nice Greco Les Paul here I might want to try it on...

I really like the Iommi's...I tried them in a few guitars before the Kramer and I must say they are perfect in that guitar, not as hot as you might think. They have a real tight bottom and a real pretty almost sparkling high end! I got them onsale at GC for $40.00 for the PAIR!!! However, i did not like them that much in any other guitar...and I tried several.

That's been a steal! :duh:

I would have bought them myself, and I am not a fan of Iommi. :blackeye: Will keep my eyes open from now on. I don't go to GC anymore, they are always on sale. I used to think that it was all bull **** you know. But obviously I thought wrong!
