Resource request- video of how to wire push-pull - multi-wire per mini- lug

So I've tried these multiple times and I figure there must be a trick because I butcher it every time. Specifically I'm interested in learning (via video hopefully) as to how to wire multiple wires to those 6 tiny little lugs on a push-pull pot.

I've never been successful - and when buying a pre-wired harness that already has wires hooked up - well that's worse because there's hardly any room to move. Here's an example of what I need described:



I've never sucessfully (much less cleanly) gotten green/bare/ground to that lower left lug. Or any two wires frankly. I need someone to tell me what the secret is. Better yet, save us amateurs heartache and post a video showing us. Because I can't bring myself to buy something like a Jonesy harness knowing I have to somehow connect my pickups into a lug that is already crowded with a gorgeous connection I now have to wreck and fail at joining with.

theres no secret. i twist the two wires together, tin them, and then solder to the lug

Thanks but three twisted wires won't fit in there- I've tried this about a dozen times or more. I want to see someone do it if I can. I've read descriptions - I need to see it happen. because I've tried various ways. For example - on the three wire connection- do you feed one set (pickups) from one side and the other wire from the other? And if so, how do you tin it then? Seeing is believing. =)

Keep in mind that since the green and bare are going to ground, they don't actually need to go that pin. Just solder them to the side or back of the pot.

I use pliers and very gently bend the tab toward the direction the wires need to come in to the hole. (E.g. for the phase switch I bend the corner tabs to ~45 degrees to make the cross wires easier to insert.)

The bare wire always needs to be grounded, so I never put that on a switch. As Artie said, green and bare don't need to be on the switch for a coil split. But the green does need to be on the switch for phase invert.

I tin the individual wires and set them into the holes beforehand. I use a couple of little alligator clamp wire holders (named "helping hands") to hold the wires in place, touch the works with the iron and then the solder and usually can a good connection.

Sometimes a wire will fall out of place when I touch the works and have to try again. If I did manage to get some solder on there, I put the 'helping hands' clamps back on before reflowing the solder so nothng moves, touch the works to reflow the solder and slip the wire in there while the solder is still liquid, making sure the wire is touching the other wires, not just touching solder only.

I use a magnifying glass and patience. When I feel like throwing the whole thing in the lake, I stop. I think it is time for engineers to make a better mousetrap here.
