Retolexing a cab

I'm pretty well satisfied with the tone of my amp, there's just one thing bothering me...

I got a great deal on that SUNN cab but it's got no tolex. I hear a lot of you handy types saying it's easy to retolex a cab, so could any of you maybe share some of that wisdom with me and give me some advice? I'm thinkin some purple or maybe green tolex so that it kinda stands out, heh heh...

good tolex is quite expensive over here. how's the price in us?
if i'd want one i have to order in germany, there it's about 39 eur per meter
standard (black and such) or 59 eur per meter nicer stuff like tweed or snake

I just ordered grill cloth from these guys. They have all the tolex, grill cloth and piping you could ask for at decent prices......www.tubesandmore.com

Man, after looking at that other thread with the sander machine and all that, I don't think I've got the patience for it.

ha i probably don't have the patience for it either...plus i just learned i have to move out of where i'm staying, so i might actually have to SELL the cab... but who knows eh...

is contact cement is the glue for recovering? i have a Marshall head i need to recover.....
