For low dollars, the EH Holy Grail and Alesis Nanoverb will do the trick. The Nanoverb has more control over the features. The Holy Grail is good in the FX loop and also straight into the front, so it's a real natural sounding, cheap unit. Those are the two I own that I use to add some air to the sound. They're small enough to wrap up with cords too. I hate dealing with rack mount stuff.

The Vox AC30 doesn't have an FX loop. (Yes, I know the CC does. It's got reverb too. Blah blah blah.) Can a loop be finagled in an AC30 for adding reverb or does the reverb unit simply have to run in front of the amp instead?
