There is a known mod by Bill Lawrence, half out of phase. This wiring enables a telecaster to mimic a strat 2nd position (bridge/middle). Its like the tele pickups become closer, as It were in a strat.
What about the other way? Lets say I have a stag mag wired in parallel and I want It to mimic a strat 2nd position, like putting the coils further from each other.
Does It makes sense? How could it be done?
