Reverse-headstock fender necks?

Eventually I might be building a strat, i was wondering if reverse headstock strats were anything special or if i could just use a lefty (and change the nut)?

Re: Reverse-headstock fender necks?

You can use a lefty neck and flip the nut. only draw back is you won't
have side dot markers. If that's not a issue... than I don't see any problems.
One more thing, you will need lefty tuners.

yup. i like the reverse headstock, gives the big strings a little tighter sound and a little looser feel to the skinny ones

if you want to have the side markers you can get a "reverse" neck both warmoth and USACG offer them...they have a lefty headstock but the side markers and still on the right side
