Reverse pickup position

Hello all... my first post...

I wanted to know if anyone of you have tried to put pickups backwards so that it could give you the sound of a lefty strat (like hendrix )

Seems nice to be here... i am hoping that in time i will get a SD replacement for my squier neck pickup. I already played an sc-101 in a squier deluxe strat at my store and it sounds exceptional.

welcome to the forum!!

flipping the pup over so the poles are the opposite stagger will get you maybe 5% closer to the hendrix tone but you may not be able to do it due to the shape of the bottom bobbin. i tried it once and wasnt overly impressed. a better set of pups will go a long way to having better tone.
