Reversed Headstock Appreciation Thread

Re: Reversed Headstock Appreciation Thread

I have always loved Reverse Headstock. I think they give a very rocking feel.

Re: Reversed Headstock Appreciation Thread

Playing a guitar that's popping a boner has never been of any interest to me. :biglaugh:

Looks great on a Firebird. Looks like absolute hell on a Fender-style guitar.

Re: Reversed Headstock Appreciation Thread

I dig the looks of the Jackson and Ibanez reversed headstock but it's awfully uncomfortable to tune.

Re: Reversed Headstock Appreciation Thread

Tuning takes a bit to get used to.

Teles with reverse headstocks look awesome, so whatever.

Love, but I like to have both in my arsenal.

Re: Reversed Headstock Appreciation Thread

Pointy and reversed, ahhhhhhhhh, that's what I'm talkin' about.

Jackson and ESP look the best with 'em. Fender style, or non-pointy and "hockey stick" headstocks look stupid reversed. IMO

Re: Reversed Headstock Appreciation Thread

Much love for the reverse headstock even though I dont have one (yet).

Re: Reversed Headstock Appreciation Thread

I like em, but I don't have any. I think the reverse Ibanez looks so much better than standard, BTW. Reverse Kramers and Hamer hockey sticks look pretty business-related for sure.

Lub dem!! Back in "the day of the reign of pointy guitars" I bought the first charvel that hit my city with the upside down headstock. DR3 I think. Candy apple red, Jt6 trem, bucker and slant single coil. Hot axe. I currently have a Washburn WM526, and a coupla gunslingers with upside down stocks currently. Will try to toss up pics on my break

Re: Reversed Headstock Appreciation Thread

Neither. No headstock for me, or at least small as possible, and as easy to tune as possible.

Re: Reversed Headstock Appreciation Thread

I would never buy one or have one made but if someone gave me one as a gift (which would never happen), I would gladly accept it and be grateful.
