this pickup doesn't use pole pieces how does this pickup work?

How can i convert a strat pickup into a toaster pickup like this in the picture?

Does the magnet field or flux different because it doesn't use pole pieces?

If it doesn't use pole pieces what does it use and how does it pickup different?

The main thing that differs between p/ups is the method of getting the
magnetism towards the strings.

What u mean because the filtertron,rickenbacker,strat pole pieces all have different "methods? of getting the magnetism towards the strings whats the differences?

Walters, I'm enjoying the fact that I am helping you enjoy your internet time-- what disturbs me is -- you re-ask the same old questions -- days apart--

you need to make a notebook folder and print out and orginize you findings..

I cannot answer the same questions -- its just not something I can happly do--

get a notebook and at least store all these answers in in and make a section for each type of pickup--

No one here is going to want to re-type answers that they already gave you in the past--

Can you make a notebook that you can use as a way of remembering answers?

If not then I strongly suggest you give up your dreams of wanting to make pickups-- becasue its just going to dirve you crazy!
