Yip, lovely tone for that style of riff.
George Lynch would have been happy enough with that in the Dokken days, although the tempo was more Jake E Lee.
More of that in the final round will go down well.

........ The controlled feedback was musical and topical, in that it really added to the feel of the riff.

That was my favorite part ........ it sounded to me like a tapped harmonic! To be honest, I like some of Gerry's earlier stuff better, but this is surprising and not too bad.

I always feel like I'm missing something, with all the raves people hand out. I feel like this person is being strategic and playing to what the voters here like: old school hard rock riffs that sound familiar. It's interesting to me that Gerry seems to have shifted gears and now fills the hole left by SymbolGirl. It's good stuff, but it doesn't get me going like it does for everyone else. But then again all of the players I found interesting have been eliminated already.

This largely expresses my feelings too. I do like this, it is familiar in some ways but i wouldn't call it totally gereric...maybe 'interesting and comfortable'. Out of the three entries in this round, i feel this one should go to the final, and i am going to score it high. Good luck next round !

Now, I'm not really into 80s music, but this was perfect. Excellent note choices, especially in the second half of the riff. Congrats! A clear 6'er from me.
