I can't really understand the notion of giving 0 or 1 in this caliber of competition anyway. It's a shame that people even don't bother to respect the entry and the level of execution!

I agree, I have not heard one single entry anywhere that would rate as a 0 or 1. Anyone who enters anything has to score at least 1 for simply recording an entry that got accepted into the tourney in the first place. And a score of 1 would have to be pretty dreadful, worse than anything i've heard here. I suspect such scores are given in some sort of childish attempt to manipulate the rankings, but I think most of us are above that level of behaviour.

I too think this one would swing better with a band behind - I agree that as the riff stands on its own, it's a little too "empty". But I see a potential of it.

Ya know, as I have re-listened to the riffs a couple of times since I voted just to appreciate the musicianship, this riff has grown on me and I have come to appreciate it more, especially how clean it was executed... this guy/gal really laid their playing out there and executed perfectly. Well done, if I could re-vote I would give you another point higher...
