rivera models

rivera has so many models and it seems like they are all so damn similar... the suprema 55, chubster 55, 5512 and fandango 55 all have two channels, a boost for each channel, reverb, and the same tubes.... so what the hell is the difference? anyone have enough experience with this company to help me out here.

Re: rivera models

The Fandango has a slightly different voiced 12" driver than the other amps. It also has a 1/2 power switch and spring reverb.

The Sedona 55 is a head, not a combo amp. (The Sedona is the combo) This head is for electro-acoustic guitars, and is is used by performers such as Ani DiFranco.

The Suprema is the smallest R series combo, which has a Fender styled clean channel and a Marshall style gain channel. It also has a different kind of spring reverb (6 spring) than the Fandango.

The Chubster is like a miniature Knucklehead. It has the most modern sounding gain channel of the amps you listed.

I didnt mention the sedona in my list, maybe you thought I was referencing that line with the 5512, what I meant was the R-series 5512 amp. Thank you for your input info is much appreciated.
