Cool to hear! Was the weight relief significant enough to notice?

I'm really hoping Warmoth starts offering Roasted Bodies–to roast their neck it was a $65 upcharge as opposed to $100 from Musikraft and the latter company charges $150 to roast the body. I like both but Warmoth is cheaper for the Tele build I have spec'd out. Musikraft offers the Clay Inlays that I really like the looks of...but for a Maple neck I don't think its that important.

it was VERY significant. almost 25% less. that's a lot.

I don't regard it as being 'harder' or tougher. Perhaps the cell membrane, sure, but because the cell's structure was being enforced/strengthened by the moisture (which is now totally gone) roasted bodies are even softer and more prone to scratches/damages.

Oops, I was conflating my experiences with roasted meats and vegetables. I forgot that if you roast something long enough, it does get rather tough.

I prefer a roasted Garlic Potato, butter,Parsley/ shallot and Herb body.
