Has anyone tried the new Les Paul to k tops and if so how are they compared to the Les Paul standard

Gonna go out on a limb here and say they sound like whoever's playing it, just like any other guitar does.

I've actually seen guitars with thin stone and synthetic countertop material as tops. They looked cool.

The dots in my Warmoth are coral stone. I am sure different types of rock look great. But I am not sure about the tonal properties. And I am certain about the weight.
