Rocktron Tsunami- Question

I have a quick question for anyone that owns or has used Rocktron's Tsunami chorus pedal. The pedal has two switches, one that turns the unit on/off (bypasses the unit) and the other that selects between chorus and ambience delay. It also has two LEDs, one to show if the unit is on and one to show what effect is selected (chorus or ambience). My question is, when the unit is bypassed, should the second LED for the effect that is selected still be lit?

I just got the pedal and so far I like it but it seems strange that when I step on the switch to bypass it, the second LED stays on. Is this the way it is designed or should both lights be going off? I keep doing double takes when I look down at my pedal board and see a red light on even though it is bypassed.

If anybody out there has one and can let me know how their's works I'd appreciate it.

yes - it is working properly ... it lets you know which one will be on when you engage the pedal

Now the important question.... What is the peddle like? I just purchased a Big Crush compressor and love it.

Re: Rocktron Tsunami- Question

i remember thinking that was kinda weird the way it worked!?

it's a pretty decent pedal...worked pretty good for thickening up your sound...but i wanted something with longer delays.

Thanks for the replies. I guess it does make sense to have some sort of indicator to remind you what will come on when it's engaged.

As for the pedal, I really like it. MF has them for $49.95 right now so I said what the heck. I like the chorus better than the boss super chorus I was using. I like the thickness of the tone and it gives you some good versatile chorus sounds. The ambience feature is nice as well. It gives you a straight delay that can be adjusted from a very short echo to a slap echo. I set it to about halfway and get a nice full hall-like echo.

A nice pedal for what I got it for. Now if it was the original price I'd have to re-think it.
