Rotosound Nickel Strings - big thumbs up

My local shop just took them in and I figured I would give them a shot.

Put a set of 10's on my Jazzmaster right before Thanksgiving and I am loving them.

Sound great and play great, very even toned and smooth. Next up 11's on the Junior.

I've been curious about them myself. I can say I never tried them on guitar before. If they are anything like their bass strings, which I have used in the past, then they gotta be good.

They are actually called "Pure Nickels" (PN10) 10/13/17/26/36/46. Haven't used the 11's yet but I am looking forward to it.

I was never a big fan of Roto bass strings, I love LaBella Deep Talking for that task but these strings are really good. Worth giving some props to anyway. I used to use the DR Pure Blues but they were just constantly breaking, then I used the Gibson Vintage Nickels which are nice but they can be tough to find. Been using Daddario XL's for quite a while now and I had forgotten how nice a good set of nickel strings are. My friend's shop is going carry 9/10/11 sets regularly so looks like I'll switching over.
