Re: Rotosound strings
To be honest, i use Rtosounds ONLY in my strat - which is very bright guitar. Those strings can really tame highs in a good way. On darker sounding guitars they sound dull as Erled_G said.
I've tried Ernie Balls, Daddarios and Drs on my strat - but nothing beats Rotosunds.
Still I like Ernie Balls on my Washburn (double cut LP, gibson scale, two buckers) more.
I suppose you got to try different strings and find "holy grail" to one guitar and start a second journey for another...
