Route 66 pedal - Any good? Fans out there?

Re: Route 66 pedal - Any good? Fans out there?

I have a J&H myself, but I've heard good things about it. It should work nicely in front of any valve amp.

I like the overdrive side of my Route 66, but the compressor side is noisey with my Blues Jr. Sent it back to Visual Sounds and Bob said it checked out fine. It is an older model and I believe that he's made some improvements. Also, that's a noisey amp (at least for me).

The OD side has a Bass Boost which is really nice. It sounds very much like my Spina-modded TS-7, so I'm guessing it does the TS-808 job well.

Visual Sound pedals are built like tanks - a good thing IMHO.

I love it. The bass boost solves the TS problem for me, and the compressor is VERY pleasant.
