Wow. I'm using this setup just until my Marshall gets out of the shop.
I have the Blues Jr. set for maximum clean headroom. Channel volume/gain on about 4, master volume on about 6. This keeps even my Les Paul very clean, and it't pretty loud. I am running the GT-6 right into the amp (no effect loop) and then into my Marshall 4x12 in 8ohm stereo.
This is the best I've heard my GT-6 sound outside of using it with headphones. I usually find that amp modelers with headphones provide the best representation of what the unit can deliver, because there is no coloration of the sound by pre-amps or power amps, or speakers...you just get the sound the designer intended.
My Marshall, Soldano, and Mesa settings all sound wicked, as do my Fender Twin and Vox settings. and for 15W, this Blues Jr can move some air thru the 4x12.
Anyone who is using an Pod, V-amp, ect....I suggest trying this. I'm really pleased with the sound.
