2010... man, that's a lifetime ago. Don't think I went through with it after all. I think I gassed for a mesa mk5 or a roadking but I opted out after a while. Too many strings attached. Right now, I'm blasting the Victory V100 and the Soldano SLO100 and I'm practically satisfied.

You absolutely CAN use a line/mains voltage transformer with your American guitar amp overseas. It's done all the time. Stay away from the Chinese models, tho. There's an American brand out there on Amazon. Something with an A. Know some techs and guys on the road use them.
