Running Octal Tubes On A Vox Lil' Nigh Train........................

I just had to do it. I was using a 12BH7 in the output and I liked it a lot. Then I had a crazy idea like what would happen if I replaced the tubes on my Vox Lil' Night Train with octal tubes? I bought adapters that would allow me to run octals and tried it out. The 12AX7s were replaced with 6SL7s and the 12AU7 was replaced with a 6SQ7. The amp sounds really good. I can no longer use the stock cover and I am considering making a custom wood cabinet.
