I want to wire my partscaster tele up Brent Mason style with the middle pickup wired to it's own volume so it can be on in any position.
I've got a Zhangbucker telebucker 3 in the neck along with a Cavalier Nocaster in the bridge right now and I'd like to put this Gibson 490r I've got laying around in the middle. I'll probably swap the magnet to an alnico 3. Does anyone know if the stock magnet orientation will put it out of phase with the other two pickups? Just kind of curious if anyone's done the humbucker in the middle instead of a single coil Nashville style. The only guitar I've seen like this is Gearmanndude's.
