Scalloping - My custom Jackson

Jackson sent me a close-up shot of the fretboard on my custom Jackson:

I told them the scalloping was not deep enough and that they should re-work it using an Yngwie Malmsteen signature strat as a reference. I asked them to make the scalloping on my guitar abit deeper than on a Malmsteen strat.

Dont you guys think as well that the scalloping is too shallow in that photo? The straight on angle makes it abit difficult to judge, but it looks shallow.

The graphic on my guitar is completed. I was told I will get a new picture of the whole guitar tomorrow. In the last picture of my guitar that I posted here back in February the graphic and the paintjob had not been completed yet and the fretboard was all taped up. I will upload the new picture as soon as I get it.

EDIT: Notice the absense of inlays. The neck does not have any side markers either.

Why didn't they take a side picture? Sounds kinda retarded on Jacksons part.

Yeah you are right. A sideview would have been much better. After the scalloping is re-worked and made deeper they will send me another shot. I will be sure to ask for a sideview this time.

The scalloping will be re-worked at the end of this month. But it wont really matter as far as getting the guitar ready, goes. The missing Kahler bridge is not likely to show up until late April or May. And without the Kahler, no guitar.
