I know it's a tad off topic but I never seem to have any luck with mail in rebates. Most all of them seem like a scam to me. That said good lick fellas, ,maybe if I would keep fighting like you are I'd of seen a few more of them come back.

hey dudes, some good updates here hopefully for anyone who bought the Lil Night Train from Musician's Friend and didn't get the rebate. Looks like they are realizing that MF screwed it up and might help me out.
Also, my vox coily cable broke and they are giving me a new one for free. weeeeeeee!!!!

I am waiting to hear back from my manager about the rebate. Musician’s Friend was supposed to advertise the rebate as ‘instant rebate’ or ‘instant savings’… and although the purchase price included it, we’re finding more & more that they didn’t advertise it. My manager will be back on Thursday so I hope to have more info for you then.
Can you tell me how much you paid for it?
As far as the cable, I can replace that for you since it was a gift & there is no receipt. Can you please reply with the color of your cable?

I bought a Lil Night Train from Musician's Friend for $150. MF listed the mail-in Vox rebate directly on their site on the Lil Night Train product page. I downloaded it and naturally assumed that since they provided the mail-in rebate form on the Lil Night Train page you had to mail that in to get $50 back on top off the price I paid.
I followed up w/ Vox about my rebate. They said it was denied because MF took the $50 off on the price I paid. They said that I should have received a letter about it.
I never got a letter. I just happened to think of emailing them about it cause my cable was broken too. After emailing w/ the Vox rep a couple times she replied as above saying that it appears that MF blew it on this one.
I'm not gonna die over $50 and I'm not a rich man but I enjoy getting after things like this and getting my money back. So, yep, hopefully tomorrow when her manager gets back she'll be able to help me out.

hi there. just wanted to update this since I'm guessing it might be involving more than just me.
After having some quality back & forth emails from Vox and getting a promise date of when I would hear back it has since gone complete radio silence by the people at Vox. I've sent about 5 emails and the only thing I got in return was someone telling me that "the Night train I purchased from Sweetwater was not eligible for the mail in rebate".
Uh, only I bought a LIL night train from Musician's Friend so...........thanks for not even reading my email generic vox customer service.

Ever heard of "registered mail"? You need proof you've sent a letter to them addressing this issue. F*ck Vox for being shady jerks that don't honor their own damn rebates.
