I just wonder how much Korg Japan have to do with this as I like products of the above and in Australia I dont think I deal with Korg USA at all (I am not sure). We have been calling and emailing Korg USA. I have already set my signature in every forum I ma in to get the attention of people not to support them.
Gotcha. yea. that blows. sorry man. $100 is still better than nothing I guess.
I mean, that whole thing was a mess and they're just dealing with the fallout now. I'm sure you've had it with them already but it might be worth continuing to press them. I think we have been at the front of the line here alerting them to the screw-ups and that the more they realize it's jacked up, the more likely they'd be to help people out. Maybe I'm just optimistic.
Worst case, go turn the night train up to max and feel better about life.
Worth nothing that there are similar complaints about Korg, and Korg and Vox are the same company.
I think somebody in their US leadership needs a good knock over the head.
Korg USA is the distributer for Vox in the US. The rebate was offered and payable by Korg USA.
Hello,
I called in yesterday to the VOX customer service line and was told I
should email this address and request assistance for my issue.
On 10/1/12 I purchased a NT15H from Sweetwater. My purchase decision was
encouraged by the $100 manufacturers rebate form I downloaded from the
Voxamps.com/us website. This was a very prominent promotion that was being
advertised on the first page of the Vox site at the time.
I purchased the amp, received the amp and registered it online, completed
the rebate form and mailed it in promptly with a copy of my original sales
receipt.
I waited until 1/25/13 to call in on this since I know rebates take time. I
was told when I called in that my rebate submission was received and
denied. The CSR I spoke to told me that my purchase from Sweetwater was not
eligible for the rebate.
There were no exclusions listed on the rebate form I downloaded from the
Vox web site that was completed and filled out. This may have changed after
I purchased my amp but I made sure everything was in line prior to
purchasing the amp that my rebate would be honored.
Amp was purchased between qualifying dates
Amp was purchased from an authorized Vox reseller
Amp was registered online
Rebate forms were mailed in and postmarked during specified times
Please find attached copies of my purchase receipt and the rebate form that
was filled out and submitted to Vox. The original file I downloaded from VOX that I printed is also attached.
The product number, serial number, date purchased, and date registered are
listed below.
NT15H XXXXXX 10/1/2012 10/6/2012
I would like to receive an email or phone call from someone that can help
me with this situation. From my point of view as the customer I have done
everything required, and the restrictions I was told about on the phone
were not in place and\or documented at the time I purchased and submitted
the required documents to receive the product rebate. I believe I am
entitled to the rebate that I submitted since everything was done properly,
and on time.
It has come to our attention that the VOX rebate form posted on Sweetwater.com from 10/1 – 10/18 did not originally exclude the NT15H model as it should have. On 10/19, the VOX rebate form posted on Sweetwater.com was officially updated to exclude the NT15H model, as Sweetwater was exclusively authorized to offer the NT15H with a $100 instant rebate, excluding this model from any additional $100 mail-in rebate.
Due to this rebate form error between 10/1-10/18, Korg USA will honor a $100 mail-in rebate on top of the already received Sweetwater instant rebate, too accommodate Sweetwater customers for NT15H’s purchased between 10/1 – 10/18.
You will be receiving a check in a couple of weeks.

Jennifer

It has come to our attention that the incorrect rebate form was posted to some retailer web sites at the beginning of this promotion. Because of this error, your rebate will be honored as an exception.
