Schecter Banshee Alder body with Nazgul in the bridge NOT what i'm looking for

Re: Schecter Banshee Alder body with Nazgul in the bridge NOT what i'm looking for

The Black Winter has great articulation, tight low end, and is a very even sounding pickup. There is no part of the EQ that spikes. Lows, mids, and highs are all very present. Leads cut through but aren't harsh. Lower gain and clean tones are actually very good as well.

I've got a Nazgul in my Carvin DC800... standard alder body/maple neck-thru, but with a mahogany top. It sounds great, well-defined string separation, not muddy.

I suspect the situation is probably simpler than you think. Have you tried reducing your amp's gain a bit??

actually no, never even thought of it to be honest. Have you had experience with it?

I have a PB. If your rocking the drop C, I'm not seeing it. The PB is a little even in the mids and a little rounded on the top. And you're saying you are not wanting mush or mid.
