schecter diamond omen-6

darnright

RepententRodentologist
I just bought one used at my local pawn shop for $160 out-the-door. Arch-top, 2 hb's, through body strings. This thing sounds great!! I had never owned a Schecter before and if this is what their cheaper ones sound like, I'll have to hear the better ones! You guys have recomended these for a long time, I just got them to agree to a better price.
So, thanks guys and Merry Christmas!!

Congratulations...Sounds like a good deal to me. Which color did you get?

Re: schecter diamond omen-6

Those are sweet guitars, I like the Damien 6 FR hellraiser a lot... Its totally not my type of guitar, floyd and emg on an omen 6 body/neck, but it rules. Schecter is a solid company.

Re: schecter diamond omen-6

I had a blue one. The wood was a bit dead but it had a decent neck.

I put 2 3 way switches in it to make each humbucker splittable/parallelable, and a phase switch between the two pickups. I could get nearly any sound out of it.

Congratulations on your find. That's a good guitar. My daughter has a blue one. I think Schecter's bolts sound better than the the set necks and the fretwork is usually pretty good. You don't need a more expensive Schecter now, just throw some SDs in there.

I'll tell you what, it is a fine playing guitar!! I had never even picked one up, but these are sweet.
