Since im going to take guitar in university/college I want to know if that is a really nice playing guitar, or no? I might save up this summer for it.

Schecter guitars are probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to import guitars. One thing I really love about them is that they look alot more expensive than they really are.

Mine is a really nice playing guitar. I waxed it with Mother's carnauba wax, and everyone asks me what it is.

Schecter guitars are probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to import guitars. One thing I really love about them is that they look alot more expensive than they really are.

+1 i have a C-1 Classic and i love it. they play pretty much the same just that i like passives more htan i like actives so i got the classic instead of the hellraiser. really nice guitar and i do recomend you get one. if you're looking for versatility though, go classic! if you just want heavy metal madness, go hellraiser.

The hellraiser is pretty nice. It has a good neck, weight, feel and playability. It feels like ESPs of similar shape. The tone is a little dark and the EMG 81 is aggressive but a little gritty, and inorganic. It rocks for metal as is, but I'd put a custom or JB in it to get a more versatile tone, and better tone in my opinion.

If you like EMG's and you like the thicker neck that Schecter offers, it's a very powerful sounding, well playing guitar.
