Schecter October special release

Soo.. you want a Schecter Avenger, with a Floyd Rose, a Sustainiac and you don't want the Synyster Custom-S models?

Don't worry, Schecter has you covered with the special release planned for october.

I seriously hope it comes in a hardtail model, and the red burst.

Re: Schecter October special release

The Teisco Spectrum shape is really cool. I've always wanted an Avenger but I can't get over the cheesy skull inlays Schecter puts on these.

Re: Schecter October special release

I wonder if they're only releasing that, or perhaps there are a few models coming out at the same time?

Aesthetically, I have nothing I'd want to look different.

Not too sure about the sustainiac but I can always find some On-On-On use for a couple of switch routes (like a P-Rails or the latest SDUGF custom pickup :) )

Re: Schecter October special release

That is pretty cool looking.... I probably would not buy it as it just isn't my style but I can dig it.

Re: Schecter October special release

I like everything about it except for the 24 frets.

Re: Schecter October special release

I especially like the 24 frets (although I read the Sustainiac doesn't since the longer the distance between that and the bridge pu, the better...)

Re: Schecter October special release

Just think how much better all the rest of the Schecters would have looked without the gaudy faux abalone binding and vine inlay crap.

Those fretboard dots look much better.

True that.

Really, the main reason why I've stayed away from em. Hopin' they embrace this less gaudy approach from now on.
