I just came across two used guitars in good condition:
one is a schecter scorpion tribal, 24 frets, set neck in black, nice feel and light weight, although i didnt like the duncan design active pickups that come with it.
the other is a prs se singlecut tabaco burst,22 frets, set neck. sounded a little better, not by far( i always switch the pickups to duncan JB bridge and 59 set anyway). weights a lot more(in a bad way) than the schecter. both seem to be made of asian mahogany (nato).
I can get the schecter for almost half the price of the prs. what do you guys think? is the prs se singlecut really better sounding, or are they equal in quality and tone wise?
