Schecter Super Rock vs Supercharger

I'm trying to figure out which set of pickups I should put in my PRS SE Custom 24 with a Floyd Rose. I've pretty much narrowed it down to these two pickups. I've tried both briefly, albeit in different guitars played through different amps. The Super Rock is a great all around pickup, but the Supercharger seemed to have more clarity, mids, and harmonics with a touch more output. Has anyone tried both that can verify this? Maybe I'm way off since the guitars and amps were different.

I know it wasn't a good comparison. That's why I'm looking for opinions. haha

Sorry I can't help you. I'm not familiar with either of those pups. But you could get those same results (even more dramatic than you describe) even with just one pup tried in different guitars through different amps.

But...a very generalized statement with many exceptions is that, at least in my experience, the PRS SE's tend to be a pretty bright and articulate sounding guitars.

Any reason for limiting yourself to Schecter pickups?

I don't have any experience with the Supercharger, but I did have a Schecter SD-II-24 that came stock with the Super Rock set and a Floyd Rose. They did "rock" just fine, I suppose, but I found them to be a little bland and uninspiring. If I had kept the guitar, I definitely would have swapped the pickups.

If it came stock, then it's not the SR the OP is talkin about, not even close. The Schecter pickups in Japanese Schecs have not much in common with the USA production, for both tonal characteristics and quality.

That said, the SC and the SR are two completely different pickups. The SR is lower in output, bigger in the low end and way more open and airy-er in the high end. Rock monster. The Supercharger is hotter, tighter, more compressed, a modern metal pickup.
