Screamin demon trembucker, perpetual burn neck?

Hey, I’m really new to learning about pickups and such.. my brother got me a SD Screamin Demon Trembucker for Christmas. Now where this is awesome, I’ve been wondering what to pair it with. I know a full shred neck or jazz goes great with it, but do any of you have any insight as to how a SD Perpetual Burn in the neck would work with it? I know half the fun is experimenting, but I figured it’s nice to have some feedback and get other opinions.

Thank you!

That will not work. A bright bridge pickup paired with a hot bridge pickup in the neck will be a mess. A single coil will work best in the neck with a Screamin Demon, or a Jazz wired in parallel (I can explain more about parallel wiring if you need me to) would work best.

Alternatively, you could put the Demon in the neck and the PB in the bridge.

The Perpet is way to hot to use with a Demon in the bridge it would easily over power the demon. A MUCH better choice would be a sentient in the neck.
I have 2 Perpetual Burns in guitars and really like the pickup but absolutely would not use one in a neck slot. The PB is hotter than the Demon fatter and more compressed that is just not the right combo.
Sentient would IMO work very well as have one with a Hybrid and one with a PB in the bridge although it would be a little darker than the Demon it's still very clear and open.

Get another Screamin' Demon for the neck. Thank me later.

I agree, sounds good with an alnico 8 in the bridge too! The demon is such a musical pickup, I just wish it had a tad more body in the feel and responsiveness sometimes.

The original El Diablo is pretty much what you're asking for
