SD and TV Jones Telecaster pickups compatible?

Good day,
Is the TV Jones Starwood Tele Neck pickup and the SD Alnico II Pro compatible to run together in a Telecaster? I heard that some pickup combinations are "incompatible".

I want to run either with a normal 3-way or with a 4-way with them in series.

Thanks,
GreatOz

there is almost no "incompatible" passive pups. you may need to alter the wiring to get them in phase with each other but that is very simple to do. i dont specifically know if the tv jones and duncan will be inphase if wired normally but if not, flipping the hot and ground wires on one pup will fix it

Don’t know about phase compatibility, but the Starwood pickups for Tele and Strat are really good - why aren’t you getting the set for your Tele?

I am actually instead considering exactly that. Very likely would just get the set and maybe another separate pickguard so I can have both and just switch out as I want to.

Definitely try it - my Starwood for Tele set saved that guitar from the chopping block (the N3 noiseless - ugh!) and it’s now become indispensable for recording.
