Here we have a JB that I turned into a Duncan Distortion by ordering the double thick ceramic magnet from MJ. I also added button head screws. Has been re-potted and wrapped with new cloth tape. Has 12in of factory lead.

Jazz Bridge humbucker. 6in of factory lead and 10in extended lead. I re-potted it and put new cloth tape on.

How's that JB, I'm sorry, Distortion sound like with the button screws? Just a bit bassier than a regular one? And I've always wondered what a Jazz bridge would sound like in the neck, especially with an A4 or UOA5. Have to see what things look like next payday though.

I guess my theory was put the screw side towards the bridge to make it "tighter". I thought it worked. That pickup worked really well for metal. Think sepultrua and stuff like that. Also the Jazz bridge sounded great in the neck. Changing the JB to a DD and Jazz bridge in the neck were both recommendations of our fellow forum members

She couldnt really figure what to charge me, so she didn't. She gave it to me. At that time I dont think they sold magnets separately.
