SD Power Stage Amp with 1x12 Cab

Hello,

I have a Fender 112 80-watt 1x12" Extension Cabinet and would like to know if I can use this SD Power Stage Amp with it without blowing it up. The Cab has an 80watt speaker and the power stage amp is 170watts...

Another question is... is this SD Power Stage just a power amp or it has a preamp?

The PowerStage is just a power amp. There is an active EQ, but it isn't really a preamp. As far as not blowing your speaker up, you don't have to turn it all the way up. What is the rating of your speaker (ohms)?
