I wanted to put SDs on my Deluxe Strat. I looked everywhere for a wiring diagram. I finally called them. Included is the instruction from Brandon at SD

Fender S-1 Switching (for Standard 3-pickup Strat)
To put one or more Seymour Duncan humbuckers (full or ‘lil sized) into a Standard 3-pickup Strat with the S-1 switching system:

For the BRIDGE pickup:

Put the Duncan GREEN wire to the 5-way switch where the original PU's red wire went.

Put the Duncan RED & WHITE together (solder them together and tape them off).

Put the Duncan BLACK wire to the S-1 switch where the original PU's black wire went.

Put the Duncan silver (bare, non-insulated) wire to ground on the bottom of the volume pot.

For the MIDDLE pickup:

Put the Duncan GREEN wire to the S-1 switch where the original PU's yellow wire went.

Put the Duncan RED & WHITE wires together (solder them together and tape them off).

Put the Duncan BLACK & BARE wires to ground on the bottom of the volume pot.

For the NECK pickup:

Put the Duncan GREEN wire to the 5-way switch where the original PU's white wire went.

Put the Duncan RED & WHITE wires together (solder them together and tape them off).

Put the Duncan BLACK wire to the S-1 switch where the original PUs black wire went.Put the Duncan silver (bare, non-insulated) wire to ground on the bottom of the volume pot.

Re: SD PUs on a Deluxe Strat with S-1

Apologies for the zombie post, but thanks for posting this. I've been searching everywhere for this info for my Hot/Vintage/Cool Rails setup.

How does it sound with the S1 on in the various positions? I've been wondering if it might be better to use the S1 as a coil split switch instead, although I have no idea how to wire that up.
