I'm wiring a guitar for Tele stack pickups except 2 tone and 2 volume. SD wiring diagram shows black wire to switch, green and bare wires to ground, and red and white taped off. I noticed the SD wiring diagram for P90 stacks puts the black and red wires together and green, white, and bare go to ground. Are the P90 stacks a lot different or is this just another way to do it, what's the difference?

The P-90 stacks are wired in parallel, while the Tele stacks are wired in series.
P-90 stacks will work in series, but they're really loud and kind of dark / muddy. I've never tried a Tele stack in parallel, but I'd expect it to be quiet, bright, and thin.
