SDs for a Epiphone Flying V 67

Hi!

I have a Epiphone V 67. Alder body, mahogany neck.

I need sugestions for the bridge pickup. I´m between the SH-11 Custom Custom and the SH-5 Duncan Custom.

For the bridge I want sounds a little vintage with more low and mids... I dont know which pickup sounds better in my guitar.

And a pickup for the neck? Any sugestions?

Thanks

I had a Korina epi and I used a 59 neck with a custom 5 in the bridge. I think that's a good basic approach. Instead of the 59 a pearly gates or anything in that class. I think going with something in the lower output range would be a mistake. If not the 5 than a custom custom would be my choice. I don't think you can go wrong with those choices, but change the pots(CTS), switch(switchcraft), cap(mallory or orange drop) and input(switchcraft) to better quality parts too, it makes a big difference.

I think you might be surprisingly happy with a Duncan Custom in the bridge.
