This is mine. She's not anything to look at but she's got a story.

This one I bought in some remote store in the middle of nowhere in France. She's a 2002 but I bought her at christmas 2007; she'd sat in the store ever since and no one had even changed her strings.

I looked at her and just knew. I never felt love at first sight for a woman but I sure did for this guitar. I sat down and played her and even with strings so dead they were actually black, I just knew this was an incredible one. So I bought her on the spot. The first and only (so far) electric guitar I bought 'new'. I guess you could say she was NOS..!

Now because she'd sat on her stand for so long, the finish on the bottom was ruined and she badly needed a clean, but I took good care of her.
I know a lot of people say 'this is the best guitar I've ever played etc...' but those of you here who know me know I don't make this stuff up, ever. I would NEVER talk up something I do or something I know unless it was the Satan honest truth. This is a HW1 Strat, and so far the only two Strats I have played that sound better than her are Custom Shops which were 4 times the price.

All of the marks, dings etc... on those pictures were done by playing. No 'relic'ing' there. Just love marks.
You can also see how badly matched the body's 4 pieces are. And she sounds huge. Incredible guitar.

Never getting rid of this one.
