Seems Randall did discontinue the R412XLT cabs..

Well, after much searching online, and calling a rather rude Randall customer service agent, it seems they have discontinued the R412XLT cabinet. When I asked the jerkoff customer service agent what is replacing it he replied with "nothing" and hung up... great...

I like the direct XLR output for recording, so does anyone have any recommendations as to what I can get to replace it?

If you are wanting to go direct for recording how about their iso cab? Or maybe a Hughes and Kettner Red Box DI box?

The only other cab i know that has a XLR out in the Peavey JSX. It also has some sorta switch on the back to make the cab sound bright or dark. I thought i saw the XLT's on the web site but i guess not. I think a lot of companies are consolidating their cab manufacturing because the price of wood/lumber has shot up 20% over a couple months and there is a HUGE used market for cabs. Cabs haven't changed much over the years

Matt,

Yeah I wish I could find a used R412XLT but there's only 1 on Ebay even...

Do you guys think a Mesa 4x12 will be the same, since they use the same speakers and all... ?

I think my shop has a couple XLT's laying around dude.

They might just be regular XL's but I know i have some old discontinued Randalls that have got to go.

Would this interest you at all?
