Re: Selling Midrange Guitars with Upgraded Pickups?
OK I'll definitely return these four guitars to stock condition. I think I'll float them on Craigslist first and see what kind of action I can get. If that doesn't work, I'll try eBay next. My Big Master Plan is to sell these guitars, add more money of my own, and get a Fender Am. Std. and a Gibson LP Studio Deluxe this year.
Good points on lots of guitartists not knowing anything about the gear they use. Wasn't really thinking about that. Shoot, one of my friends can't change his own strings so I do it for him when he comes by -- you wouldn't believe how much grime is stuck under his old strings. I see a teacher once a month to advance my playing and it blew his mind when I told him that I swapped magnets in the SG Faded that I was using. I won't even go into trying to converse in technical terms with most GC staffers anymore.
