Seth Lover in an Ibanez AM73?

Just installed a set of Seth Lover PUPs in an Ibanez AM73-TBL & I have a few questions.
First I must say I am relieved to have them in & working. Thought I was going to have to rout out more space for the legs as they are long ver. No one ever mentioned the 2 versions in all the research I did. Wasn't until I actually searched for installation issues that I found out about this! Anyway, once I measured them relative to the strings, I saw that I had enough room to adjust the height appropriately.
I did use the stock adj screws so I wouldn't have to deal with the slotted screws the PUPs came with???? Did have a bit of a struggle with the long springs though because I just had the strings lifted & had to add the mounting rings with the PUPs already in the well.
I'm looking for tips on how to level the pickups relative to the strings. They won't stay where I set them. I'll probably pull them back out & re assemble them without the strings so I can do any mods I need to get them level.

Thanks,
kev

welcome to the forum!

I thought all Seth Lovers had long legs (unless you order them with short ones).

If you bought the pickups new, take the gray foam packing material in the boxes and cut it into pickup size rectangles and put one in each pickup cavity. Might help.

Yeah, I always used the pickup foam to do that. It seems to work well.
