I've got a Seth Lover in the bridge position of a 1977 Gibson doubleneck (six side) and to me, it's just THE tone. However, I'd like to put one in the bridge position of a 72 LP deluxe (it's already routed and I didn't do it) but I'm afraid it will not sound the same. I'd swap the pickups to test it but the doubleneck's wiring is a rats nest and I don't want to go through that again! You could see how the "just use the doubleneck" theory will not work as that guitar is too heavy to use for hours on end. I'm big enough where the LP can hang all night and it won't bother me, but the DN is just too much.
Does anyone have a Seth in a Les Paul and how does it differ from the Antiquity in a LP. I have a JB in the bridge now but it just seems to be missing something. Too thin maybe? I can't put my finger on it but it seems to be as hot as I like it, but not as full. I have a JB in a 68 Epiphone Casino and it sounds just great. Anyways, a few opinions would be really great as I don't want to blow a bill on the Seth or spend a lot of time swapping it out just to find out it will sound WAY different than it does in the doubleneck.
