Saw this on the bay, here's a description from the bay.
Here on auction is an excellent working condition old school Seymour Duncan Custom 'Customer' Pickup. I lived in Santa Barbara in the late 1990's and there was a used music store there in town (Cowboy Star - now out of business) where the owner being friends with Seymour Duncan himself would get boxes of Custom 'Customer' Pickups from Seymour that did not work out for the customer that ordered it. The store would then sell them and I got a bunch and several of the pickups turned out to be one of a kind all time favorites. This one has the sticker 'B-M' and specs out to 13.15k and has the four conductor wire. I never knew what B-M stood for and the only name I can think of is Brian May haha...Unfortunately someone took a sharpie pen to make it black(it appears it started as cream colored) so I recommend using a chrome pickup cover on this one. See pics.Cosmetics aside, I have tested this pickup in the bridge position and it really does sound awesome! Its hard to describe sound but this thing really rocks! I've had this for years and dont think I'll be using it, so here it is on auction listed as is condition no return.See pics as this is the pickup you'll receive. Feel free to ask any questions.
Anyone knows what does B-M means and is there any truth to what the seller is saying?
