Seymour Duncan factory tour pics

Curly

Moe's Bluesman
OK, here are my pics from the tour.

a little word of explanation - I threw this together pretty fast, so some of the pics could be better. I had just bought my digital camera, so I was still gettin' used to it ..

naturally, now I wish I'd taken more shots!

enjoy!

Great pics Curly!! Thanks for sharing. Actually, I just got finished talking on the phone with Scott for about 30 minutes and he told me what a great time yall had.

Re: Seymour Duncan factory tour pics

Thanks for giving us a little insight with the pics, Curly! Who's who in the photos, by the way?

Oops, nevermind. I just caught the post in Scott's thread with names attached. Thanks!!!

I recognize Stevo from his website... Curly, from one of the captions, you must be the guy in white, right?

I'm the sort-of Jerry Garcia look alike :)

I guess I just assumed everyone knew what Scott and Stevo looked like, but like I said, I threw that page together, so I'll add more descriptive captions

Speaking of sweet, what were the impressions of the D-TAR stuff???

Re: Seymour Duncan factory tour pics

I think a lot of people assume that SD has these great big machines where you load in a spool of wire, a rack of bobbins, a rack of magnets, flip a switch, and it automatically starts cranking out pickups.

Frankly, I'm amazed at how much of the assembly seems to be done by hand.

Re: Seymour Duncan factory tour pics

You messed up the coveted Kellie shot!!!

Regardless, looks like a blast not only meeting fellow forum bro's but hitting the factory to boot.

Re: Seymour Duncan factory tour pics

Great pics Curly, thanks.

Always good to see pics of forum bros.

Re: Seymour Duncan factory tour pics

Nice! So Curly: what's one or two things that surprised you about the Duncan factory? Something you'd pictured one way but maybe was alot differant than you'd imagined? Did you meet Seymour? Nice job! Lew
