Standard D? Thats a full step down. Drop D is just the E string lowered to D? Either way, I think the Pegasus is one killer PUP. Its got it all and doesnt do anything poorly. My fave Duncan so far and the Sentient is awesome as well. For me anyway, best set I got, easily

That's in a Les Paul, right? What is the string gauge? I ask because if the OP's axe has a 25.5" scale and the next thicker gauge, his tuning down to D standard will be more comparable to your guitar in E standard. I think I have that right.
