The "S" pot in the photo is the Seymour Duncan pot that currently comes on our prewired pickguard. It's made for us by Bourns, to our specs, and it's the large size. We'll start selling them too at some point. For now they're being consumed by the pickuards and the upcoming prewired harnesses.
The Liberator's volume pot, on the other hand, while also made by Bourns, is the smaller sized can (also to our specs) so that it fits into more guitars. I think it looks bigger than it is in the image. This thing will fit into Tele cavities and Jazz basses too. The yellow Ibanez is pretty small and it fits in there with plenty of room.
The shaft on all of them is plenty long for a rear routed cavity, but a true long shaft for LP's will be released in the future.

Wow, I'm glad to see they are made by Bournes. Frank, are there any plans for a low-friction pot like the EVH one? I'm really enjoying mine but I suspect I'll probably wear it out and if I have to buy another one, I'd like to get it from you guys.

If it's comparable to my low-fric Bournes pot, it is VERY linear. It's, by far, the most linear-acting pot I've used and rolls back very nicely. No "hot spots" and nothing weird like most of the CTS pots I've used.

Funny you should ask, there's a special potentiometer on the YJM prewired pickguard that might interest you.

Well, we like it. Seymour likes Bourns pots and has the old sealed blue ones in his Tele Gib.
They're great people, great to deal with, and willing to make us what we spec.
I've been using both the high speed (looser feel) and the Seymour Duncan (smoother feel) for over a year now and every time I have one of my guitars open I swap the pot for these.

I think this is a great product and will really help a lot of folks. But - you Duncan guys should at least search "Liberator" on google, or at least Amazon, before saddling your product with that name.

I can't wait to hear the tone purists discussion on this.
I am sexcited for the SD/Bournes pots though, hopefully SD will charge less than $15 per pot like EVH is, I need 3 right now, GET 'EM OUT!
