Seymour Duncan pickups - help

Hey I have a Yamaha RGX and I'm looking at getting some Seymour Duncan pickups for christmass.

I mostly play Punk, Rock and some lighter Country music (you get the jist).
I want to go for the Seymour Duncan Invader in the Bridge position, but I don't know what to get for the Neck position.

Any suggestions? I was going to choose the SH6 Distortion for the neck.

What do you reckon? Please give me some feedback as I'm unsure about what I'm about to purchase (in the nest few days) will give me a good sound that I will enjoy for years to come.
Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

Re: Seymour Duncan pickups - help

You're not gonna get any decent cleans that can do country, perhaps try the Jazz. The volume will be considerably less in the neck and you can use that for clean.

If you want to solo in the neck, then give the Full Shred a try.

Hope it helps and welcome to the forum!

Thanks I'll take that in mind. I have to ring up the technician to buy them anyway so I'll him.

For clean tones, don't go any hotter than a 59N or Jazz Neck. You might also like a Pearly Gates Neck. Lew
