Seymour Duncan Pots?

Re: Seymour Duncan Pots?

My email is listed in my profile, Frank. I'd love to give some 500k pots a shot. I could actually use some as of...yesterday

Thanks for the heads up on the Settings! My e-mail was there, but did not have the "Receive Email from Administrators" checked.

Re: Seymour Duncan Pots?

Looks like everyone on the forum is volunteering to beta test the new SD pots. Count me in too. I've never been quite satisfied with the taper of any of the pots I've used. I hope the SD pots have adjusted that aspect.

I'd love to try some 500k's (never use 250's).

Frank,
Thanks for the offer to let us test them. I'm sure you'll get a lot of input from some bright and experienced musicians on this forum.

I'd LOVE to Beta Test anything you have to put out into this world of guitar geeks!

BTW, I have a guitar build in progress and unless I'm mistaken the builder is about to route for the electronics cavity so if you're willing to send a set all the way to Kentucky then that'd be all kinds of awesome!

Re: Seymour Duncan Pots?

Errr.... giving this a bump because I'm going to need 500ks for a les paul instead. :D

Though, my idea was to have pins at the back of the pot also
For the ultimate versitality....

If you look closer you can see that they still have the pins attached;

same with the pushpull pot

Re: Seymour Duncan Pots?

Yeah, but I didn't mean about soldering terminals... but quick connect pins.
Like three rows of pins on the back of the pot, orthogonally placed.

One row of pins connected with beginning of taper, one row of pins connected to the wiper, and third row connected to the other end of taper.

That way you can interconnect several nodes at the back of the pot, without soldering.

something like..sorry for MS Paint Job :)
