Seymour Duncans/Tonerider Out Of Phase?

Hi All,

I wonder if anyone knows the answer to this one - i replaced the pups in my SG with a Tonerider Rebel 90 and a SD Phat Cat. In the bridge and neck position they both sound great. In the middle position the volume drops off and i get a not-unpleasant Peter Green sound. Ive double checked my wiring(only one each right? Even i cant get that wrong)and its all correct.

Is the answer in the winding/magnets used by the different companies? Does anyone have any experience of this kind of thing?

Im a big Greeny fan so i enjoy the sound but the drop off in volume is a pain and quite limiting so if theres any advice anyone has it would be gratefully received. Its a shame because the two complement each other quite well, the Rebel 90 sounds almost Tele like and has a lovely clean clang. The Phat Cat is absolutely savage so i dont want to take them out of there id just like an answer.

Funny... I have the same problem, but have not had time yet to better it. I think that flipping the magnets in one of the pups will cure it. Anyways, I hope to be able to tell you in a few days.
